It feels like it took soo long to be back to blogging. I had so much up my sleeves which took away a lot of spare time.
I have so many things I had wanted to share in my time away and will be posting them from time to time. Please forgive my absence. I missed you too. Lol
On the top of my list is appreciating Jewelry designers/ Jewelry Makers.
I remember my first attempt stringing seed beads was in 2009 when I was still learning what kinds of beads were out there and how I could apply them to my jobs. I enjoyed every bit of making single multistrand pieces from it, it was interesting how versatile they were.
Fast forward to now, seed beads seems to be popular and now used in various stitching/ jewelry making techniques.
It's simple to source with reasonable pricing, however can be quite tedious and time consuming, it's high time we stop placing low value on handmade jewelry and start appreciating the time, passion and effort jewelrydesigners/beaders put in each piece.
It's priceless, please support and encourage any jewelry maker or aspiring jewelry makers you know in any way you can. It goes a long way.... Let's not kill the passion, it's our industry, Lets protect it!
